Positioned on a corner block, our lovely Buninyong clients were seeking privacy and some serious street appeal to complete their new home. 

Defining the residence is a modern take on the picket fence, secured with a custom corten steel gate. Re-purposed stone from our onsite excavation was used to retain and build the dry-stone walling, which beautifully frames the sculptural form of the bottle tree.

The use of block planting and consideration to the colour palette creates calm and softness to the intricate and detailed hardscapes. Whilst in the backyard, sweeping circular paths lead you on a journey through the garden to our limited-edition artwork ‘The Garden of The Little Wattlebird,’ a perfect inclusion for the myriad of incredible native birds that delight in this gardens offering.

Off cuts from the residences decking were salvaged and up-cycled to create a striking timber feature retaining wall that hugs the custom seating and fire pit.  Our clients relish the space to gather with their family and friends, whilst of course toasting a champagne and a marshmallow or two!
