Awarded Gold at the 2009 Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show.

Our first foray into show gardens at the Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show – and we snagged a Gold!

​

Comprising three zones, and pre-empting the vertical garden and outdoor room phenomenon, this award-winning garden pushes the boundaries between art and functionality.

 

A collaboration with metal design studio Entanglements, who manufactured the steel component of this project, saw the evolution of Paal’s sculpting into metal artwork for gardens.

​

With a focus on highlighting corten steel as a durable and aesthetically beautiful product, this garden showcased our flat-packed bottle tree sculptures and custom furniture. True to its title, and optimising construction time and versatility, each component of the modular garden was previously manufactured and assembled onsite.
