MELBOURNE INTERNATIONAL FLOWER & GARDEN SHOW
THE CONVERSATION GARDEN
2012
Awarded Gold at the 2012 Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show

As our largest show garden to date, we were honored to once again be invited back to the Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show.

With social media on the rise in 2012, this garden was designed with a social conscious in mind. The intention of the garden was to create opportunities to open dialogue between family and friends.
The Conversation garden beholds deliberate circular areas to gather face-to-face and re-connect away from our devices and distractions; within the rounded fire pit, curved dining space and circular spa. During the show, our water feature served as a wishing well, with all proceeds donated to The Australian Suicide Prevention Foundation's 'Hold on to Life' campaign.

This garden was also designed to our clients brief. The use of light weight concrete planters and a modular system to assemble the hardscapes, enabled us to transport the structural components and soft furnishings directly to our clients backyard!
