MELBOURNE INTERNATIONAL FLOWER & GARDEN SHOW
THE WAVE GARDEN
2010

Awarded Gold and the prestigious Royal Horticultural Society, Comeadow Award at the 2010 Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show.

Our team were delighted to be invited back to The Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show in 2010. This year's entry saw a bare plot, nestled in the heart of the Carlton Gardens, transformed by our team in a grueling but thrilling 10 days.
Think lazy summer afternoons lounging on the deck, watching as the sun creates a dreamlike interplay of light and shadow….'The Wave Garden' sourced inspiration from the Australian coastline: the crests of its waves, the curves of its bays and the ripples in its low tide sands. The organic shapes and harmonious composition aimed to contrast with the harsh right angles of architecture that often dominate our living spaces.

Hailing Australian natives as the heroes of this garden, the use of repetitive, block planting complemented the gardens calm aesthetic. The planting schedule was recognised with the prestigious Royal Horticultural Society, Comeadow Award. And for the second year our amazing team again secured a Gold Medal.
